The Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort is an elegant and scenic resort found on the Sairee beach of Koh Tao, also known as Turtle Island. The island received its name from the many turtles that lived on the island decades ago. It is one of the most outstanding diving places in the world, discovered only less than 10 years ago in the centre of the deep Gulf of Siam, located in Southern Thailand.

We offer 45 luxurious and comfortable cottages made of tropical woods such as coconut trees and bamboo shoots, fit to accommodate even the most demanding guests.

Diving courses and dive packages including diving facilities are some of the fun and exciting activities available at our fully self-contained PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Licensed resort. An impressive swimming pool and tropical garden are only a few of the many amenities offered at the Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort. The 23 economy apartment types rooms are available for guests who want to take dive courses.

Liveaboard cruise, Queen Scuba , the 28 metre long 7 metre wide luxury liveaboard was designed for divers wanting to taste the delights of the very best dive sites in Thailand and some of the very best dive sites in the world while living on the sea. Our Sailor Cottages are set in 8 cottages with 33 square meters in each room. Every room contains a large cooling fan and air-conditioned with queen size double bed, living space with polished coconut wood floor, rich Thai-style bamboo ceilings, ensuite hot shower bathroom, and balcony.

There are 22 Superior Sailor Cottages offered from 33-45 square meters in area with 3 different types of layouts to choose from to suit your needs. You can choose from a Queen-Sized double bed or Twin bed, with air conditioning. Each contains a living space with a polished coconut wood floor, rich Thai-style bamboo ceilings, ensuite hot shower bathroom, balcony, wooden cooling fan, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar and refrigerator.

The 9 Deluxe Pirate Cottages, covering 36 square meters each, have a superb view of the Sairee beach and are all set by the swimming pool side. Each offers king size double bed or twin beds in an air conditioned bedroom. The carefully designed living space flaunts a polished coconut wood floor, Thai style bamboo ceilings, private bathroom with hot water bathtub, and wooden cooling fan. Captain Suite
With a superb view of the Sairee beach, 3 beautiful chalets are available at our resort. Each covers 76 square meters and contains 2 bedrooms, and all chalets are set by the swimming pool side. Each air conditioned room is embellished with a polished coconut wood floor and Thai style bamboo ceilings. The master bedroom has a King-sized bed with separate bathroom, containing a bathtub and a hot water shower. The second bedroom contains twin bed with a separate bathroom as well, also with a hot water shower. If that were not enough to appease the luxury-living customer, a balcony, wooden cooling fan, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, refrigerator, hair dryer, tea and coffee are all featured in the chalet.

DIVING COURSES

Our diving center on Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort is on site to arrange diving exploration in some of the highly ranked untouched diving destinations in the Gulf of Thailand. We can assure you much more comfort and style. Tuition in recreational and technical diving begins on a daily basis. We also offer a few nitrox courses and touch the surface of re-breathers.

From Bangkok International Airport (Don Muang),  the most convenient way to reach Koh Tao same day is to fly to Samui. More than 20 flight schedules connecting to Samui Airport operate daily from Bangkok. The catamaran from Samui to Koh Tao departs at 8:00 and 12:00 on daily basis, and the boat trip is approx. 2.00 hrs. Transit time for flight and boat connection is approx. 2 hrs. If your arrival flight to Samui before 10.00 hrs, you will be able to catch the catamaran at 12.00 hrs and arrive Koh Tao 14.00 hrs.

Alternatively, budget tourists can travel from Bangkok to Chumporn by fast train in sleeping cabin ( approx.10 hrs.) or by coach (approx. 7 hrs.) which can be connected to Chumporn pier (Thayang) to catch the boat at 7:00 hrs.or 13:00 hrs. departure time to Koh Tao, arriving 8:00 hrs. and 14:30 hrs.

Resort - pier transfer will be serviced on daily boat departure schedule basis.
