Secret Garden is a beautifully located beach resort on the Island of Samui in Thailand. We are well known for our great food, excellent service, value for money and our Sunday live music.

Perfectly positioned on the white sandy beach of Big Buddha, Secret Garden is a sure bet if you are seeking the perfect getaway from the hectic and stressful lives from which we all strive to escape. With coconut palms to the water's edge, lush garden vegetation and a relaxed, casual atmosphere there is no peruse to do anything except relax and enjoy.

Beachside Bungalow

These Thai-style A-frame bungalows are more modest in size, but still boast a queen-size bed, wardrobe, fridge and cable TV. They all have varnished teak floors and the interiors are bright, clean and cool. Each one has an open air bathroom which gives you a wonderful ‘back to nature’ feeling. Bask in the sun on your private terrace and enjoy the sea-view, as they are all only a few metres from the beach.

Beachfront Bungalow

This delightful and spacious bungalow is right on the beach. Throw open the sliding glass doors, step onto terrace and straight onto the sand! Lie in bed in the morning and watch the light dancing on the water or be lulled to sleep by the whispering of the waves at night.

You’ll notice how spacious this bungalow is. Although the king-size bed takes pride of place, there is plenty of storage space so you won’t feel cramped at all. The exotic Balinese-style bathroom ends in a cascade of light that enhances the natural stone of the outside shower area. This is the perfect beach bungalow which is why our honeymoon customers choose it again and again.
 

Garden Bungalow

These 2-bedroom teak bungalows are split-level giving a sea view as well as a panoramic view of the garden. On the upper level you will find the double bedroom which is spacious and has a huge bed, dressing table and large wardrobe. The living room has a sofa, cable TV and a glass door which opens out onto a large wooden verandah. This effectively doubles the living area and makes it most suitable for a family. The bathroom and a single bedroom are downstairs on the ground floor. You will find that these bungalows offer a greater degree of privacy, even for those with children.

Garden Bungalow (Twin Room)

These air conditioned rooms have twin beds and a built-in wardrobe to give you plenty of space. The bathrooms are generously large and each room has cable TV and a fridge

Garden Suite

This room is 40 sq. metres and feels more like a small flat. It has a large combined living room and bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, sofa bed, chairs, cable TV and fridge. You can relax on the terrace and enjoy the sea view. It is ideal for a family with a small child or for those who like plenty of space.

Our restaurant sea breeze is beach dining at its best. We have an unrivalled location right next to the water, which is perfect for long, lazy lunches or romantic, candlelit dinners. Perusing the menu, you will find a selection of light and healthy dishes as well as some that are more indulgent. You can choose to eat in the restaurant or under the shade of the coconut palms, closer to the water's edge. Rest assured, we will make sure that you are well looked after.

We specialize in fish and seafood dishes which, for some reason, always taste better when you dine next to the ocean. If you've never had giant prawns cooked in a lemongrass sauce then we have a treat in store for you.

The wine list has been carefully selected with wines from Italy, USA and Australia. Our bar has a full range of premium spirits, local and imported beers and a large selection of cocktails, both traditional and tropical.

Secret Garden has a legendary reputation not only on Samui but also internationally for putting on quality live music every Sunday. It starts mid-afternoon when the early crowds come in to enjoy the BBQ whilst listening to mellow guitars or acoustic blues.

As the sun goes down, the energy level rises. Local bands play most of the time, but it is not unusual to find an international musician stroll in unannounced and start jamming with the boys on stage.

Having started putting on live music in 1989, we are now so well - know that any taxi driver will know where to take you on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone is welcome to join the party and you can be assured of a great time.
