Superior rooms are located in the “Original” Ark Bar and have been recently
renovated and redecorated. All rooms have either a double bed or two single
beds, and by request, some rooms can be equipped with a third single bed.
Regardless, if this is your first or tenth visit, you will always be pleasantly
surprised at the cleanliness, quality and facilities of these centrally located
rooms for such a low price. The rooms are now equipped with an air conditioner,
hot shower, in-room safe, satellite television, refrigerator and mini bar. Every
room has a balcony, and this is the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee or
some pre-dinner drinks.

cushioned benches. Or you may prefer to watch live sport and play a game of
pool at the inside bar and dining areas. The restaurant's extensive menu offers
such a varied selection that you might be ready for another “Mai Tai” before
you can decide on whether to eat some fresh local barbecued seafood, imported
or local steaks, an authentic Australian chicken parmagiana or experience some
of the best and tastiest Thai food possible.
On most nights you can listen to DJ’s spinning the latest Uplifting and Funky
Vocal House music. Be ready to get some sand between your toes while dancing
the night away at the famous Ark Bar “Wednesday Beach Party” and the “Funky
Friday Beach Party”.

Chaweng's beach activities are numerous and include swimming, snorkelling,
jet skiing, sunbathing or just lazing the day away sipping a cold drink in the
shade of a coconut tree.
Alternatively, the often overlooked hinterland offers jungle treks, waterfalls,
a tiger zoo, bungy jumping, trail bike riding, historic temples and much more.
After a day on the beach under the tropical sun or exploring the lush hinterland
“The Best and Only Place” to chill out, eat, drink, relax, party or mingle with
people from all over the world is at Ark Bar’s two beachfront restaurants and
three bars. They are, by far the most popular, happening and cosmopolitan day
or night destination in Koh Samui.
Here you can participate in the “Funky Friday" Beach Party or the famous Ark
Bar “Wednesday Beach Party”. On these days please take advantage of our "free"
BBQ and indulge yourself with exotic cocktails, cold local and imported beers,
vodka jelly shots or a Samui jungle juice bucket (it's our own secret recipe,
we could tell you, but then we would have to kill you).
As day turns to night, and the rest of the world prepares to sleep, imagine
yourself dancing barefoot under the stars on this tropical moonlit beach while
watching the daredevil fire-shows or enjoying the energetic live music performances.
All of this while you are grooving along to funky vocal house music played by
professional DJ’s from Spain, England, Australia and Thailand.
Nearby are some of the uniquely Thai cultural experiences such as the "bargaining"
